NEWSFLASH… FREELANCE OPPORTUNITY FOR PROJECT COORDINATOR…
We are exited to highlight a new freelance work opportunity with the Trust. Details are below with a deadline of 08:00 on 26 June 2023.
We launched regular clean ups during COP26 which had around 50 people from across Glasgow and further afield attend the three hour session! It was great fun, and we learned so much about each other.
Local residents participating told us:
“I look out onto this park and want to do my bit to keep it clean.”
“I used to live just over there, but moved away when I was a teenager. The Park and the Winter Gardens are very much part of me and when lockdown gave me the chance to come back, I was upset to see the state of things and I wanted to help.”
“We like to come and forage here!”

Over the last few years we have worked across the COMMUNITY to excite and motivate everyone to become a Winter Gardens Champion! Our projects have involved local schools, initiating children’s history and heritage trails, working with local young people alongside national organisations that promote a green agenda, growing and all things heritage.
